In the
early 1770's, Great Britain had instituted new tax laws to the 13 colonies. The
taxes were added on tea, glass, paper, paint, and etc. These unfair taxes
angered the colonists. They thought that these laws were a violation of their
rights. so, the colonists decided to fight for their freedom and that's how the
